Complaints Policy

1. Introduction

216 Finance is committed to providing its services in a transparent, professional, and ethical manner. We recognise that insolvency processes can be complex and may sometimes lead to misunderstandings about the legislation and duties governing insolvency office holders. As a result, concerns or complaints may arise when actions or outcomes—although required by law—are not fully understood.

This policy sets out how complaints can be raised, how they will be handled, and the timeframe for our response.

2. Before Making a Formal Complaint

If you have concerns about your case, we encourage you to contact us in the first instance to discuss the matter informally. If you would prefer to speak with someone other than your usual point of contact, we are happy to arrange for another member of staff to review your case with you.

3. How to Make a Complaint

If you remain dissatisfied after informal discussions, you may submit a formal complaint.

4. Acknowledgement and Response Times

Upon receipt of your written complaint:

  • We will acknowledge your complaint.
  • A full written response will be issued within 28 days.

Please note that this timescale may change in accordance with the Complaints Policy in force at the time your complaint is submitted.
